What we’re looking for 

A skilled Handyperson that enjoys a variety of tasks, ideally with experience in roofing as we want to advantage of the during the summer/autumn seasons and get a few of these jobs ticked off the list! 
In this role you’ll join our trades team operating from our customer’s site in Hawera and Eltham - Taranaki.  

Duties will include:

• Roof repairs and maintenance (replacing and fixing roofing and flashings)
• Undertaking sealant works
• General repairs and maintenance of building and site fixtures and fittings
• Fixing and hanging doors, replacing hinges, locks and door handles
• Installing/replacing non-slip step treads
• Adjusting window locks and frames
• Painting preparation and application

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have relevant skills and experience across a range of general trades-related activities
  • Have previous roofing-related skills and experience
  • Full Drivers Licence A class 1 (car license) is essential.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and can-do attitude.
  • Self-motivated and driven towards successful outcomes.
  • Be physically fit and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to Health and Safety for yourself and others.
