Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Fixed-Term, Full-Time | Rostered Hours (Includes Weekends)

3 November 2026 – 26 March 2027

PAE is one of New Zealand’s largest providers of facilities management services. With a proud legacy of supporting critical infrastructure – from Defence sites to civic spaces – we deliver services that keep our clients operating safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

We’re looking for an organised, people-focused Customer Service Representative to join our seasonal Antarctic Support Contract team. This is a fast-paced, fixed-term opportunity supporting the United States Antarctic Program (USAP).

You’ll be the friendly face greeting USAP participants arriving in Christchurch before they transit to Antarctica.  You’ll be helping them settle in and supporting them with travel, accommodation, and logistics. From flight interruptions to lost baggage, you'll be the calm in the storm, keeping things moving and delivering top-notch service at every step.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to civilian USAP participants
  • Assist with travel and accommodation bookings, including managing hotel allocations
  • Meet and support participants arriving on commercial flights
  • Help retrieve lost baggage and provide general passenger support
  • Work a rostered 5-day week, including weekends (hours to be confirmed to meet operational needs)

Why you?

You’re calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and bring a can-do attitude to everything you do. You have great customer service skills, enjoy helping others, and can juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat. You’re digitally literate, comfortable navigating systems and tools, and quick to pick up new processes. Most importantly, you’re a team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed and stay steady when things get busy – especially during the on-call rotation every third week.

To be considered, you must:

  • Be available from 3 November 2026
  • Hold a clean full New Zealand Drivers Licence
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Be able to pass a US Government background investigation (including reference and security checks for an Airport Identity Card)
  • Be a NZ citizen, resident, or hold a valid work visa

What makes this role one of a kind?

This is no ordinary customer service role – you’ll be part of something much bigger. Supporting Antarctic operations is a rare and rewarding opportunity, and you’ll be working with a team who are passionate, professional and committed.  Applications close 23 October 2026, or earlier should a suitable candidate be identified.
