For more than 30 years, PAE has proudly partnered with the New Zealand Defence Force, delivering facilities and asset management services that keep critical Defence environments operating safely and efficiently. This long-standing relationship reflects the trust placed in us every day and the high standards we bring to our work.
As a proudly iwi-owned organisation, we recognise our responsibility as kaitiaki, guardians of the environments and communities we support. We are committed to building strong relationships founded on respect, integrity, and manaakitanga.
We are seeking a motivated Lifeguard to join our team supporting an NZDF facility in Ohakea.
Whether you're already an experienced lifeguard or a confident swimmer looking to build your skills and qualifications, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where safety, service, and teamwork are at the heart of what we do. Training support may be available to help you gain industry-recognised lifeguard and first aid qualifications.
As a Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring all pool users enjoy a safe, welcoming, and positive experience while helping maintain high operational and safety standards across the facility.
As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, identifying and managing risks, and responding appropriately to incidents when required. You'll help maintain a safe environment for pool users while ensuring the facility remains clean, well-presented, and operating to required standards.
Working closely with both PAE and NZDF personnel, you'll contribute to the day-to-day operation of the facility, providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with pool safety procedures, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
