Delivery Supervisor - Devonport

For over 30 years, PAE has partnered with the New Zealand Defence Force, delivering facilities and asset management services that keep critical environments working and moving. It’s a relationship we’re incredibly proud of as it reflects the trust placed in us to deliver, every single day.

As a proudly iwi-owned organisation, we recognise our role as kaitiaki – guardians of the environments and communities we support—and we’re committed to building strong, respectful partnerships grounded in manaakitanga.

We are seeking a Delivery Supervisor to support maintenance delivery across our NZDF Devonport contract.

You’ll coordinate planned and reactive maintenance delivery, support operational teams and subcontractors, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual, quality, and compliance requirements.

About the role

As a Delivery Supervisor, you’ll oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and unplanned maintenance activities across operational sites. You’ll play a key role in coordinating workflows, supporting work management processes, and ensuring maintenance jobs are scoped, progressed, and closed out to the required standard.

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and support functions, you’ll help drive quality delivery, operational compliance, accurate system use, and continuous improvement across maintenance operations. This is a practical, coordination-focused role with strong stakeholder engagement and workflow oversight.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Oversee and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across operational sites
  • Support site teams, trades, and subcontractors to deliver works safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
  • Monitor work progress and help resolve scheduling, resourcing, and operational delivery issues
  • Oversee work orders in MRI or similar systems to ensure jobs are scoped, assigned, updated, and closed out correctly
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, supporting documentation, photographs, and certifications
  • Conduct quality inspections and support compliance, audit readiness, and defect management activities
  • Provide practical guidance and procedural support to operational teams
  • Build strong working relationships with NZDF representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and maintenance delivery performance
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

  • Strong understanding of maintenance workflows, trades or operational delivery, and work force management
  • Experience coordinating maintenance activities, subcontractors, or operational teams
  • An understanding of contract compliance, maintenance methodologies, and quality assurance processes
  • Strong digital literacy with the ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to interpret scopes, specifications, drawings, and work orders
  • Strong organisational, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Current NZ Class 1 Driver Licence
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NZDF site and security clearances

Why this role

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where coordination, quality, and operational delivery all come together. You’ll support essential maintenance services across Defence environments and play an important part in keeping operations running smoothly.

At PAE, you’ll be part of a values-led organisation that prioritises safety, teamwork, and service excellence. You’ll work alongside experienced teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and help deliver outcomes that matter.
