We're looking for a Data & Reporting Coordinator to join our team at RNZAF Base Ohakea.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in how operational decisions are made. Working at the intersection of systems, reporting and operational delivery, you'll help ensure the information captured within our job management and asset management systems is accurate, meaningful and actionable.

About the role

As Data & Reporting Coordinator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity and reliability of operational and asset data across site operations.

You'll work closely with operational teams, subcontractors, compliance personnel and managers to ensure information held within our job management and asset management system (MRI) and associated platforms is accurate, current and aligned to contractual and operational requirements.

You'll also play a key role in reporting, maintenance planning, audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives that support the performance of the wider contract.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Maintaining asset, maintenance and compliance data within our job management and asset management system (MRI)
  • Monitoring and improving data quality across operational systems
  • Developing reports, dashboards and performance metrics
  • Analysing operational information and identifying trends and opportunities
  • Supporting maintenance planning and operational decision-making
  • Assisting with audit readiness and compliance reporting
  • Providing training and support to users of our job management system (MRI) and related platforms
  • Working with operational teams to improve data accuracy and reporting quality
  • Supporting system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Acting as a key site contact for data, reporting and system-related queries

What we're looking for

  • Experience in data administration, reporting coordination or systems support
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with asset, maintenance, job management or operational systems
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A methodical and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to build strong working relationships across multiple teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NZDF security clearance
