What we’re looking for We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging person who, ideally, has experience within a warehouse environment and who can multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day activities within the Clothing Distribution Centre (CDC).
In this role you will: •Assist the CDC Coordinator with day-to-day activities including participant briefings and pre-flight passenger processing. •Provide individual allocation of extreme cold weather clothing to participants. •Assist warehouse staff with customer interactions and warehousing processes. •Responsible for the administration of stored items. •Act as a CDC administration representative for PAE. •Adherence to PAE NZ Security, Environmental, IT and Risk Management Policies

What you will bring •Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, analytical problem solver •Computer literate with Microsoft Office, including EXCEL, Word, and PowerPoint •Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal •Ability to multi task and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining strong daily productivity •Collaborative team approach and can encourage, build, and maintain productive relationships •Resiliency and flexibility especially during high season activities •Relevant manufacturing or warehousing experience in high volume stock control •Available for weekend and night work during flight operations •Available to be on call every third week during our main season August to March. •Obtain necessary Client clearances including Security Clearance and Ministry of Justice checks.
This is normally a 40 hour per week role, Monday to Friday - based onsite at our Christchurch office. However, due to the operational requirements around flight schedules to and from Antarctica, the Assistant CDC Coordinator will, at times, be required to work additional hours and be part of the after hours on call roster during the Antarctic Season. (August to March).
The successful applicant must be eligible to work in New Zealand, hold a current clean NZ driver’s license, complete a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing), and obtain the necessary security clearances.
Due to the nature of the role the successful applicant will also be required to undergo a United States Government pre-employment Elevated Background Investigation. This process will take several weeks and employment will be unable to commence until the EBI is completed.
