We’re one of New Zealand’s largest providers of facilities management services, supporting organisations whose work matters. From maintaining Defence Force bases across the country to supporting hospitality, retail and Antarctic operations, our teams work behind the scenes to keep our customers’ worlds working and moving.
We’re now entering a major transition programme across several NZDF sites, and we’re looking for a Project Coordinator to help keep this complex programme organised, visible and moving forward.
This is a fixed-term opportunity through to November 2026, supporting the mobilisation and transition of services across multiple Defence locations. It’s a role at the centre of delivery — where strong coordination, structure and follow-through will make a real difference.
Working closely with the Programme Manager and Project Manager, you’ll help keep the programme organised, visible and moving forward.
You’ll coordinate workstreams, maintain project documentation, track actions and milestones, and support programme reporting and governance.
This role suits someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders.
Ideally you will have:
Experience in a project coordination or project administration role
Strong organisational and documentation management skills
The ability to track actions, deadlines and competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Project
A structured and detail-focused approach to your work
Experience supporting large or complex programmes would be an advantage.
At PAE, we take pride in supporting organisations that keep New Zealand running. Our people work together to solve problems, support our customers and deliver work that genuinely matters.
If you’re looking for a role where your coordination skills will help drive a nationally significant programme, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that applications will be reviewed as they are received.
