Play a pivotal role in keeping Wellington’s world working and moving.
PAE is one of New Zealand’s largest providers of facilities management services. With a proud legacy of supporting critical infrastructure – from Defence sites to civic spaces – we deliver services that keep our clients operating safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
We’re currently seeking a highly organised and relationship-focused Subcontractor & Compliance Officer to support our Wellington City Council contract. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for managing a wide network of subcontractors who deliver essential services across the contract — from general maintenance and repairs to specialist works. In addition to coordinating their onboarding and performance, you’ll also take ownership of building compliance activities, including leading the coordination and management of building compliance processes to ensure all sites remain safe, operational, and up to code.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of structure, coordination, and people interaction. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our subcontractors are well-supported and delivering high-quality outcomes, while also ensuring our compliance documentation and inspection schedules are consistently up to date.
You’ll work closely with Facilities Managers and the wider operations team — keeping building records in order, managing contractor documentation, and ensuring BWoF certifications are completed in a timely manner.
