Play a pivotal role in keeping Wellington’s world working and moving.
PAE is one of New Zealand’s largest providers of facilities management services. With a proud legacy of supporting critical infrastructure – from defence sites to civic spaces – we deliver services that keep our clients operating safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
We’re currently looking for a practical, solutions-focused Project Controller to support the delivery of small works and maintenance projects under our Wellington City Council contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with trade or project experience who enjoys taking the lead on site, working with contractors, and driving projects from idea to completion.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering small-to-medium scale projects — scoping the work, organising contractors, sourcing quotes and materials, and keeping everything on track. You’ll liaise with internal teams, tenants, and Council stakeholders to keep everyone informed and minimise disruptions, all while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
From minor upgrades to reactive maintenance jobs, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, has a knack for coordination, and takes pride in getting the job done right the first time.
