Northern Regional Operations Manager

Behind the scenes, our people are making sure the world keeps working and moving. And right now, we’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Regional Operations Manager to lead from the front.

About the Role

This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced operations leader to oversee service delivery, drive financial performance, and nurture high-trust client partnerships across our dynamic Northern regional portfolio which includes three Defence sites plus other commercial customers. You’ll be a key part of our Operations Leadership Team, reporting to the General Manager of Operations and working closely with our Executive Team to bring strategy to life on the ground.

We’ll look to you to:

  • Provide visionary leadership to operational teams across the Northern Region
  • Ensure service excellence for key client contracts including Government and critical infrastructure
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, strategy and financial outcomes
  • Strengthen customer and subcontractor relationships
  • Build a culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to bring their best.

About You

You're a seasoned operations or facilities management leader who thrives on complexity, people leadership, and strategic delivery. You know how to build trust with clients and teams alike – and you’re not afraid to make the tough calls, back your people, and bring the right energy to keep things moving forward.

You’ll bring:

  • 10+ years in senior operations, service delivery or contract management roles
  • Proven ability to lead change, improve performance, and grow commercial opportunities
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
  • High EQ and a passion for growing people and culture
  • Experience navigating large-scale contracts, government clients, or regulated environments
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
