About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will be part of our Strategy, Innovation and Growth team, supporting the development of new business opportunities, managing customer transitions, and assisting with solution design. This is a varied role that provides exposure to different aspects of Facilities Management, from research and analysis to operational support and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting New Business Development – Assist in preparing sales proposals, tenders, and business cases, ensuring they are data-driven and well-structured.
  • Contributing to Client Transitions – Work on transition project workstreams, conduct audits of customer data, and collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Undertaking Research & Analysis – Collect, review, and interpret customer, competitor, and industry data to inform business decisions.
  • Assisting with Solution Design – Help document customer requirements, assess service options, and contribute to the development of tailored Facilities Management solutions.
  • Providing Post-Transition Support – Engage with the Customer Contact Centre and internal teams to ensure seamless service implementation.
  • Working with Internal and External Stakeholders – Liaise with finance, IT, subcontractors, and partner organisations to support business growth.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field) preferred but not essential 
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The confidence to engage with different stakeholders and contribute to team discussions.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools or reporting software.
  • An interest in industry trends, technologies, and innovations in Facilities Management.
