What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing mechanical maintenance, fabrication, and repairs to a variety of equipment including boilers, HVAC systems, .
  • Assisting in the preparation and implementation of maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Managing materials and maintaining tools, workshops, and equipment in top condition.
  • Supporting health and safety initiatives and maintaining compliance with standards.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and assisting team efforts to meet key performance indicators.
  • Being available for on-call rosters and responding to urgent needs when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • A trade-qualified fitter or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience with gas systems or a gas ticket would be preferred but not essential.
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A full NZ driver’s license and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and motivation to tackle challenges and help others.
