Are you passionate about elevating project management standards and leading high-performing teams? We are seeking a dynamic National Projects Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our project management capabilities.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for establishing best-practice project management frameworks, ensuring consistency across national and local projects, and fostering the success of both our team and the business. You’ll collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to deliver complex projects that meet or exceed client expectations, all while ensuring we maintain our high standards for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a small, high-performing team of project professionals.
- Implementing best-practice methodologies for project delivery, governance, and documentation.
- Managing high-complexity projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Driving continuous improvement in project processes and systems.
- Engaging with clients to develop long-term project plans and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
About you:
- Proven experience delivering complex projects and contributing to the financial success of a business.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively.
- A team-focused attitude, with the ability to foster collaboration and drive performance.
- Have the ability to work across our customer sites in Devonport, Papakura and Whenuapai or alternatively be Wellington based,
